War Through the Generations is a reading challenge that focuses on war, and most of the time, we’re just here plugging away with our reading, posting reviews, and hosting read-a-longs. However, there are times when we should take a moment to reflect on what many of these wars are about — obtaining freedom.
In today’s case, the United States celebrates its freedom or independence from British rule on July 4th. So take a moment to thank the men and women who came before you and celebrate their sacrifices for your freedom. Then go have a cookout with family and friends.
