Books and Other Stuff recently read and reviewed After the Fire, a Still Small Voice by Evie Wyld for the 2010 Vietnam War Reading Challenge.  Here’s a little snippet:

The story is not told linearly.  . . . Another stream of the novel is Leon’s experiences in Vietnam, and the start of his own post-traumatic stress. When he drives around in Australia, he experiences same thing that US Vietnam veterans experienced: scorn.
