Review: THE EAVES OF HEAVEN: A LIFE IN THREE WARS by Andrew Pham

Books and Other Stuff recently read and reviewed The Eaves of Heaven: A Life in Three Wars by Andrew Pham for the 2010 Vietnam War Reading Challenge.  Here’s a snippet:

In all the movies that I have seen, the French Legionnaires were noble men, looking for a new life. Pham writes about the crudest bunch of men that I have read about. What an eye opener.
