Review: IRON THUNDER by Avi

Bookworm’s Dinner recently read and reviewed young adult novel Iron Thunder by Avi for the U.S. Civil War Reading Challenge 2011.  Here’s an excerpt:

“Tom Carroll was an actual sailor on the Monitor who is fictionalized by Avi.  Through Tom’s point of view his vivid and clever imagination for what could have been comes alive.
