Review: HEAR THE WIND BLOW by Mary Downing Hahn

Just Books recently read and reviewed Hear the Wind Blow by Mary Downing Hahn for the U.S. Civil War Reading Challenge.  Here’s a sample:

This book tells a war story through the eyes of a young boy. All Haswell wants to do is give some comfort to a wounded solider. It was a good thing to do, but there were repercussions for this act of kindness.
