Irene’s Desk recently read and reviewed The Crimson Rooms by Katharine McMahon for the WWI Reading Challenge in 2012.  Here’s an excerpt:

And then there was the Crimson Rooms, this was post WW1 the story of a a family who could not come out of their grief, a sister who could not miss her brother more, thought of him everyday and who was devastated to learn of his uncharacteristic actions, but was only too delighted to have him back in a way.
