Review: SHANGHAI GIRLS by Lisa See

Page After Page recently reviewed Lisa See’s Shanghai Girls; here’s an excerpt:

This book, being set in a more modern era than her previous two, was a quicker read for me and I am not sure why–maybe the plot was a bit more simple?
The one criticism I do have, is that that ending felt a little off to me. It is very vague and I am wondering if there will be a sequel or if that is just the way she wanted it to end.
