Review: A SEPARATE COUNTRY by Robert Hicks

Silly Little Mischief reviewed A Separate Country by Robert Hicks for the U.S. Civil War Reading Challenge 2011.  Here’s an excerpt:

Told in alternating voice, Anna Marie, Hood and Eli, a man affected by Hood’s actions on the battlefield. The story goes back through Anna Marie’s childhood and her friends. It was interesting to see how Anna Marie’s past affects their future. I liked how the story weaved through time.
